Fake handshakes and fake conversations don’t justify this lack of appreciation. Living your dream just isn’t what it used to be. Self-righteous competition fueled by insecurities, too quick to cast out friends of so-called enemies, I thought we were all in this together? But it looks like we’re alone for the better. It hasn’t been easy but I’m trying to find myself. It’s becoming far too simple to pretend you’re someone else. I’ve got to hold on and keep my head above this water that’s drowning everyone. Reality checks aboard drama-induced train wrecks make these wounds seem to heal even less. Sometimes it can take more than just your eyes to see the false justification of long forgotten unity. Too quick to judge each others impurities, I thought we were all in this together. We are the ones, the ones you’ve never heard. How are you so unaware that you’ve made this worse? We were doing just fine before you walked right into our lives and made things die. And who are you to judge how we live our lives? At least we stand up for what we think is right. And if you feel the same, rise against their claims; you’ve got something to say and you will be heard. You will be heard today.
