I had higher hopes than what this place can offer me now. If I truly don't belong here Lord, where do I go now? I wish I could say my mind is safe and sound, free from my conscience always dragging me down. I'm never alone; I've kept my demons too close. It's hard to let go of the only comfort that we have ever known. You've destroyed the only reason I had to convince myself that I should stay. I don't understand why it took so long for me to see that everything we love gets taken away. If this is a sign of what we become is it even worth the time to mend what we have done? Who do I trust if I can't trust myself? Who do we trust if we can't trust ourselves?

Isolation 04:42
I envy the snow and the rain as it falls to the ground and so fleetingly dies, spending most of its life falling down from your face, while I long for your touch. And so distant I watch all the color begin now to drain from your cheeks and return to the earth. And so selfish I plead that you won't die here alone, but you can't save me from what happens next. I'm unwilling to see you take your last breath so I'll crawl to your side and lie with you now. I know that we're lost, can't hope to be found. We haven't seen a soul in so many days now, but we'll find a way. When morning comes, I won't give into this unbearable cold. I'll keep us both warm and we'll find that our feet can still firmly hold us above the dirt that whispers our names, so welcoming now. There's no turning back if we fall to the ground, so we'll muffle the sound with our hearts beating loud. I know we're fading fast, but I see something now, a break in the clouds and the warmth of the sun trickling down. No signs of life, no help on the way, only more time to dwell on what's been taken away. This is not what the world was when we first met, but its a world we can love. It's all we've got left. Just stay close to me now. I know that we're lost, don't want to be found. We haven't seen a soul in so many years now. The life that we built awoke to reclaim so much more than we thought had all been taken away. We found a way; we found our way.

The Storm 03:19
We're born in love and learn to hate, programmed to perceive and obey our world broadcast through TV screens. Blindly we trust and carry on a steady march. Predetermined steps approaching dawn, untimely death; we can't regret having never lived if we don't question what we're fed. Wake up. Under the cover of night we work by candles and strain our eyes to see the blood between the lies used to betray us. Could this be the first time that we've seen ourselves unfiltered and obscene, always so easily deceived? But there's a storm coming; we are the wind and the rain. We will knock down your doors; you will all know our pain. We don't carry pitchforks or torches or guns; we're the sound of the voices you've ignored for so long. Not anymore. Now the sound of our march is a thunderous roar. We can't be cast from your mind just by closing your eyes.
