Who would have known three years ago that we would set fire to the coast? These scrapes and bruises turned out just fine. It looks like we’re finally living right. Six feet under ground was looking so appealing until now. But we won’t let our lives be judged by hands unworthy of our love. Oh, the time has come to rise against this selfish plight. No more digging graves tonight. We won’t be laid to rest. We won’t forget where we came from, no, not a single fucking thing that we’ve done. We’ll take this world off of dying hands. We’ll build a life that’s worth living again. I hope every breath I take breathes life into these plans that we’ve laid. From the Jersey shore to California breeze, these late nights forever tell the stories of long drives with sunsets at our backs, and only the road signs to keep us on track with where we’ve been and still have left to go. We won’t forget where we call home. We’ll never leave you behind. I swear I’d die for this tonight.
